CATCHER Project: CascataChuva is among the finalists of the Innovation Radar Prize 2024

Startup CascataChuva, member of the CATCHER project consortium, has been nominated for the "Sustainability Tech" category in the Innovation Radar Prize. After the public voting to help select the finalists at the end of September, it was recently announced that CascataChuva is among the finalists and the event for the Prize will happen on November 11th in Lisbon.

E-NOSE Kick-off Meeting in Novi Sad

On the 7th of October, the Kick-off meeting of the new E-NOSE Project took place in Novi Sad, Serbia. E-NOSE is a project that is funded by the European Commission Executive Research Agency, and coordinated by the Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad. DeepTechLab is among the international consortium of this project.

Lusófona University participates in the 4th CoARA Working Group in Brussels

On 19th September 2024, the fourth in-person meeting of the CoARA Working Group on "Improving Practices in the Assessment of Research Proposals" took place in Brussels, bringing together various organizations, including several universities. Among these was Lusófona University, represented by Professors Svitlana Lyubchyk (Lisbon University Center) and Maria José Brites (Porto University Center). The meeting also featured participation from representatives of the European Commission, who co-chair the group.
