CATCHER Project Meeting held at Lusófona University in Lisbon

On Tuesday, 24 February, the CATCHER consortium convened at DeepTechLab, Lusófona University, in Lisbon, for a hybrid meeting to review progress and align on the final phase of the project.

The session provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s key achievements and outlined the next steps toward completion and future exploitation, as CATCHER enters its final month. The agenda featured a roundtable discussion alongside partner presentations, focusing on the last reporting period and defining priorities for the months ahead.

The meeting brought together representatives from Lusófona University (Coordinator, Portugal), CascataChuva (Portugal), Anthesis (Spain), Royal Military Academy (Belgium), Nanomaterials R&D (Poland), NanoTechCenter (Ukraine), and SYNYO (Austria).

Funded by the European Innovation Council since 2022, the CATCHER project is developing an innovative technology that harnesses atmospheric humidity and directly converts it into electricity. By enabling efficient use of this emerging and sustainable renewable energy source, CATCHER contributes to strengthening the European Union’s leadership in clean energy innovation.
