Deep Tech Lab / COFAC is hosting several international research secondments between June and October 2026 under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges, as part of the Horizon Europe projects AQUADETECT, BEYOND EPICENTERS and HSAFE. These research visits reinforce the laboratory's role as an international hub for scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange and researcher mobility.
During this period, the first research secondments within the Horizon Europe projects AQUADETECT and BEYOND EPICENTERS are taking place, marking the launch of the MSCA Staff Exchanges activities and an important milestone in the implementation of both projects. Over the coming months, Deep Tech Lab will continue to welcome additional researchers from the three project consortia, further strengthening international collaboration and scientific cooperation.
During their stays, the visiting researchers will contribute to research and innovation activities aligned with the objectives of each project. Within AQUADETECT, they will support the development and optimisation of advanced optical sensing technologies for water quality monitoring. In BEYOND EPICENTERS, they will contribute to the development of geospatial data integration platforms and digital tools for disaster risk assessment and decision support. Within HSAFE, the secondments will focus on the development and validation of innovative semiconductor-based biosensing technologies for the early detection of cancer.
By welcoming researchers from different countries and scientific backgrounds, Deep Tech Lab continues to strengthen its international partnerships, promote scientific excellence and contribute to the successful implementation of collaborative Horizon Europe projects.
