EWALD Hybrid Seminar at Lusófona University in Lisbon

On January 20th 2026, a hybrid seminar of the EWALD project was held at Lusófona University, Lisbon, bringing together the project partners to reflect on progress made and to chart the way forward in the project’s final year.

The session focused on key achievements and upcoming priorities across project management, research activities, and staff exchange. Participants engaged in discussions on research outcomes, coordination milestones, and strategic next steps as the project moves toward successful completion.

A highlight of the seminar was the official welcome of a new project partner, QuanTag IT Solutions (Germany), which joined the EWALD consortium at the end of 2025. The addition of QuanTag further strengthens the project’s technical expertise and collaborative network, supporting its interdisciplinary and international scope. In this context, partners also had the opportunity to present their organizations, teams, and specific contributions to the project.

The project’s leading organization, Lusófona University, was represented by Prof. Svitlana Lyubchyk (EWALD Coordinator), Prof. Francisco Silva Pinto, and Prof. João Rodrigues.

Overall, the meeting provided a valuable moment of exchange and alignment among partners, underscoring the shared commitment to delivering impactful results as EWALD enters its final phase.
