EGI Master’s Students participate in a practical class at DTL

On March 24, master’s students in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa had the opportunity to complement their theoretical knowledge with a practical class in the Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials course. The session took place at our DeepTechLab and was led by Professor Svitlana Lyubchyk, a lecturer in the Industrial Engineering and Management (EGI) master’s program and a researcher at RCM2+, with the contribution of Artem Shylo, researcher and member of DTL.

DETMED Mid-Term Meeting in Lisbon

On 20th of February 2025, the Mid-Term Meeting of the DETMED project took place at Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal. DETMED is a project funded by the European Executive Research Agency (REA) of the European Commission and coordinated by Lusófona University.

EWALD Project: Workshop on Land Degradation monitoring in Morocco

The workshop on land degradation monitoring using QGIS and Google Earth Engine took place from February 10 to 13, 2025, at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, Morocco. EWALD is a project funded by the European Executive Research Agency of the European Commission.

This recognition highlights the project's commitment to transforming pioneer research into viable business ventures.

Nov 18: CATCHER Project Review Meeting in Lisbon

On November 18, DeepTechLab's team organized a review meeting for CATCHER at Lusófona University in Lisbon, hosting a mission of representatives of the European Union and the project's parnerts. CATCHER (Creation of Innovative "Humidity to Electricity" Renewable Energy Conversion Technology) is a project funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and coordinated by Lusófona University.

CATCHER Project: CascataChuva is among the finalists of the Innovation Radar Prize 2024

Startup CascataChuva, member of the CATCHER project consortium, has been nominated for the "Sustainability Tech" category in the Innovation Radar Prize. After the public voting to help select the finalists at the end of September, it was recently announced that CascataChuva is among the finalists and the event for the Prize will happen on November 11th in Lisbon.
